On November 26th, 2011 we visited the Essen Motorshow 2011.
During our walkabout we took a lot of photographs.
Of Oldtimers, racing cars or motorcycles but also of special paintings and "Giants of Steel".

Autumn in Liège
One time in year we travel to Aachen because of chocolate...
And the area around Aachen has so much to see and visit that we traveled this time to Liège.
The weather was not very friendly but Liège is a nice and friendly city to visit.

From September 26th until October 3rd we visited together with our bears - Liselotte und Jim - Heidelberg.
We were in and above Heidelberg - on and beside the Neckar - in Sinsheim and Speyer at the Car and Technology Museums and we were in a mine...

gamescom Festival 2011
At the gamescom weekend a special gamescom festival took place in Cologne - the gamescom Festival.
We visited the concerts of Andreas Bourani, Tim Bendzko + Band, Jupiter Jones and Philipp Poisel.

I visited the gamescom on August 19th, 2011 again... and there were a lot of visitors too...

From July, 1st until July, 6th we visited Wroclaw. Although the weather was not always fine it was an interesting and fascinating trip.

This was my second trip to Wroclaw and I enjoyed it so much that I am sure to get back in the future.

I visited Top Hair International on March 19th, 2011 in Düsseldorf.
On the one hand I photographed the performance of Team Haarmonie from Vienna who were supported by Ralf Kleefuss - Art and Hair / Cologne.
On the other hand I took photographs of the shows of Paul Gehring, Georg Ochs, Paul Mitchell, Hair Contrast "Dress up your style!" und Markus Strauß.

With sunny wether the first carnival procession 2011 was the one of Jan von Werth.
First there was a pageant on Chlodwig Place with an absolut new choreography.
And after Jan got his Griet the procession started.

At INTERMOT 2010 I took some interesting impressions.
Although I am no biker it was very interesting and sometimes really funny.

The last day of photokina 2010 I used for a short visit.
Amongst others I saw Ullrich Remus on stage who gave a lot of interesting styling tips. The guy knows what he is doing and he can talk about it very good.
Guido Karp showed the photographers how to set light.

My second photo day let me visit all halls of photokina - from hall 9 where David Mecey made a fantastic performance on stage to Boris Wienholz in hall 1 who referred to topics of German Photo rights.
By the way I found out that my camera can create a third dimension out of a colour chart.

photokina takes place every two years so it is clear that I have to take a look...
I caught a lot of impressions from the modern photo world till the silence you can see at Ulrike Harbach.

At August, 6th there was the vernissage at House Metternich (Koblenz) of Guido Karp's photograph exhibition "Songbirds".
If you now think that you can see there blackbird, throstle, finch and starling until August, 22nd you will be disappointed. Guido Karp's songbirds are international known musicians like Phil Collins, Sarah Connor, Elton John and a lot more.
I had to take some photographs so that you can get some impressions of the vernissage but also of the exhibition.

At June, 31st I visited the Cologne Rodeo & Country Weekend in Cologne Weidenpesch.
Sure I took a lot of photographs again. - Some from the Linedance and more from the Rodeo.
I am sorry that I do not remember all the names of the acters but who wants to be named can inform me and I will change the title of the photograph...

From June, 16th until June, 30th we did a Round Trip in and through Scotland.
Our Trip began at Edinburgh Airport and went on to Glasgow, Grantown-on-Spey, Wick, Fort William und Balloch back again to Edinburgh.
