boot Düsseldorf: boot Düsseldorf 2027 to Bring the Maritime World Back to Düsseldorf

» A Global Meeting Point for the Water Sports Industry
boot Düsseldorf will return from 23 to 31 January 2027 as the world's largest yacht and water sports fair, bringing together more than 1,500 manufacturers, retailers and tourism destinations from around the globe. The event is expected to feature over 1,000 boats and yachts, ranging from compact tenders and inflatable craft to luxury superyachts.
Organizers view the strong exhibitor participation as a positive signal for the marine industry. Despite challenging economic conditions in recent years, Düsseldorf remains an important marketplace where manufacturers and dealers can connect with customers, generate business opportunities and present new products to an international audience.
New Hall Layout During Modernization Works
Visitors to boot 2027 will encounter a revised hall concept as Hall 9 undergoes modernization and will remain unavailable until 2029.
As a result, exhibitors showcasing RIBs, inflatable boats and tenders will move to Hall 17, which becomes the starting point of the exhibition's popular Motorboat Walk. This route will continue through Halls 1, 3 and 4 before leading visitors to the superboats in Hall 5, the superyachts in Hall 6 and yacht brokers and designers in Hall 7a.
To maintain smooth access throughout the exhibition grounds, a specially protected covered walkway will connect the North Entrance with Halls 10, 11 and 12.
Hall 12 Becomes the New Action Hub
One of the most significant developments for 2027 is the creation of a new action-focused Hall 12, bringing together surfing and paddling under one roof for the first time.
The centerpiece is a 65-meter XXL pool, expanded specifically for competitions and visitor activities. New features include a bi-level skimboard course, the Surf Academy and a redesigned paddling channel winding around an artificial island. Together with a high-rope climbing park, the hall is designed to offer a mix of sport, adventure and hands-on participation.
Throughout the nine-day event, visitors will have the opportunity to try various board sports, while international athletes compete in four world-class contests.
Diving Hall Fully Booked
The diving segment continues to be one of the fair's strongest attractions. Hall 13, dedicated entirely to diving, is already fully booked.
The hall will feature leading manufacturers and retailers presenting the latest diving equipment and technology, alongside travel destinations, interactive experiences and an extensive stage program. Organizers expect the hall to once again serve as a focal point for the international diving community.
Travel Inspiration and Sailing Expertise
In Hall 14, visitors can explore the “Destination & Boat Life” area, which focuses on charter holidays, houseboats, marinas and maritime tourism. The section is designed to help water sports enthusiasts plan future adventures both on and beside the water.
Sailing enthusiasts will find a strong presence in Halls 15 and 16, where many of the world's leading sailing boat manufacturers are expected to exhibit. The Sailing Centre will host presentations, regatta insights and talks by renowned sailors sharing experiences from life at sea and competitive sailing.
Innovation and Sustainability in Focus
Beyond boats and equipment, boot Düsseldorf 2027 will continue to emphasize innovation and environmental responsibility.
A key element is the blue innovation dock in Hall 10, where shipyards and technology companies will present future-oriented developments for the maritime sector. The platform brings together industry leaders, investors and policymakers to discuss the future of boating and water sports.
Marine conservation also remains an important topic. Through initiatives such as the “ocean tribute” Award, boot Düsseldorf continues to provide visibility and support for projects dedicated to protecting the world's oceans.
Tickets Already Available
Tickets for boot Düsseldorf 2027 are already on sale. Members of the free boot.club can purchase a two-day ticket for €21, while students and school pupils receive reduced admission at €16. Children up to and including the age of 12 are admitted free of charge.
The fair will take place from 23 to 31 January 2027 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. With its combination of boats, yachts, water sports, travel inspiration, emerging technologies and sustainability initiatives, boot Düsseldorf once again aims to bring together every aspect of the international maritime world under one roof.
