Douro River Cruise from 26 April to 5 May 2024 - Day 8
Day 8 (3 May 2024) began with a walk through the small but pretty town of Pinhão. The railway station there is beautiful because, as could be otherwise for Portugal, there are azulejos depicting the region.
After travelling on across the Douro - through the Bagaúste lock - the excursion to "Lamego" followed in the afternoon. Another beautiful town with interesting churches and chapels.
